Principal's Message

Year of Jubilee

Bonjour à tous.

Finally PAM is back up and running.  It has taken a very long time for them to sort out the issue and we thank the SIMON team for their dedication in keeping yours and our data safe. We thank you all for your patience while this was happening.  Families will  have received information on changing your password earlier in the week.  Families can now go back to submitting absences online and giving permission for activities.  Please check your junk/spam folder if you have not received this information, or contact the office and we can re-send the information to you.

Please note that SIMON EVERYWHERE still remains offline.

Enrolment Intentions for 2026.  If you will not be returning to St Laurence's in 2026 please let the office know as soon as possible as we are in the process of arranging classes for next year.

2nd Week of Advent

We light the second candle this week.  This candle signifies Peace.  It is also known as the Bethlehem candle as a reminder of Mary and Joseph's journey to Bethlehem.

Bishop Greg has a video message for all our school community.  In this video message, Catholic Bishop of Sale Most Reverend Greg Bennet invites us to embrace the spirit of Advent 2025, a time of reflection, hope and joy in preparation for the coming of Christ.  You can view this be following the link

ST VINCENT'S CHRISTMAS APPEAL

Gallery Image

The cost-of-living crisis has reached a worrying new low. Families are skipping meals, so they can afford to feed their kids, pay their rent, and keep the lights on. Please help provide people with urgent assistance and lasting support to break the cycle of poverty and disadvantage.

Next week we will be collecting items to assist St Vincent de Paul in supplying Christmas non-perishable items. Please ensure all products are well within date.
