Grade 2 News

In the classroom, we are finishing up our learning about patterns in Numeracy- recognising that patterns are everywhere in our everyday life, and finding the rule of the pattern in order to continue the pattern. 

In Literacy, we are watching or reading a number of Christmas stories and investigating how the characters change, describing the setting of the story, and discussing the beginning, middle and end of the story. 

In Religion, we are learning about the birth of Jesus in preparation for Christmas. 

Students have heard and watched the story as well as having the opportunity to create their own nativity scene.

This year has been filled with growth and achievement in every area, and we couldn’t have done it without your partnership. We wish all our Grade Two students the very best as they move on to Grade Three, and we look forward to seeing them continue to flourish in the years ahead.
