Foundation News

What an incredible year it has been in Foundation!
As we reach the end of the school year, we can’t help but feel proud of just how much our youngest learners have grown - academically, socially, and in confidence. From those very first days of school to now, the children have truly blossomed into capable, curious, and enthusiastic learners.
Throughout the year, students have built strong foundations in reading, writing, and mathematics, explored the world through inquiry, and developed wonderful friendships within our classrooms. Their excitement for learning has brought so much joy and energy to our school community.
A special highlight this year has been the rich and supportive relationship with our Grade Six buddies. The bonds formed have been beautiful to watch - full of laughter, encouragement, and genuine care. Whether they were reading together, playing games, helping with activities, or simply spending time chatting, our Foundation students have loved every moment with their buddies. We know these memories will stay with them for years to come.
We would also like to offer a heartfelt thank you to our families.
Your ongoing supports - especially with reading at home - has made such a meaningful difference. The time you’ve spent listening, encouraging, and celebrating each milestone has helped your child grow into a confident learner. We truly appreciate the team effort.
Thank you for sharing your children with us this year. It has been a privilege to watch them learn, laugh, and shine. We wish all our Foundation families a restful, joyful holiday break and look forward to seeing the children continue to thrive in the years ahead.
Warmest wishes, The Foundation Team
