After-hours school activities survey

We want to hear from you! Our school is excited to explore offering a variety of activities outside of school hours and would greatly appreciate your input on the types of programs and experiences you and your family would like to see. Whether your child’s interests lie in sports, arts, academic support, or other areas, your feedback will help us design engaging and meaningful opportunities tailored to our community’s needs.

Please note that these activities will be facilitated by external providers, and there may be associated costs for families. The school will provide suitable space for these programs.

We invite you to take a few minutes to complete this survey and share your ideas. Your voice is essential in guiding us to create activities that best support and enrich the lives of our students and families.

Community Hub – Preparing for 2026

The Community Hub invites parents to an upcoming information session focused on preparing for the 2026 school year. This session will explain how classes are formed and provide helpful advice on supporting your child as they transition to a new class environment. It’s a great opportunity to connect with other parents and learn strategies to make the change smooth and positive for your child. Community Hub is on Friday 21 November at 9.00 am in the hall. Join us for tea/coffee and a chat.

End of School Year – Changes and support

As we approach the end of the school year, students and families are preparing for important changes and transitions. Many students will be excited about moving into new classes next year, attending special events, and celebrating their achievements. This period often brings a mix of emotions—from anticipation and joy to some nerves about change.

It’s also a time when routines can shift, and student behaviour can be influenced by the excitement and uncertainty. We encourage parents and carers to support their children by maintaining consistent routines at home, discussing upcoming changes positively, and promoting respectful behaviour. Regular conversations about expectations and providing reassurance can help students manage their feelings and finish the school year on a positive note.

Attendance remains a key part of student success, and we are pleased to report that our school’s attendance rate is increasing. We strongly encourage parents and carers to send their children to school every day, including the last days of term. Being present right up to the end ensures students don’t miss important learning opportunities and helps maintain a consistent routine.

Teachers also play a vital role during this time by reinforcing positive behaviour and supporting students in adapting to the changing environment. Throughout the remainder of the year, staff will focus on encouraging respectful interactions, maintaining clear routines within the classroom, and helping students develop the skills they need to transition successfully.

Together—parents, carers, and teachers—we can ensure this transition is smooth and supportive.
