Multicultural Day: CJC's inaugural Multicultural school celebration is next week on Friday 7th August from 3.30pm! Please come along for delicious Mango Lassi, brigadeiros and paes de queijo and entertainment from around the world including, bahay kubo, Mauritian dancing, candles & challah.
If you are able to volunteer to help set up, sell food or pack up on the day, please go to - volunteersignup.org/YEWEL
Father’s Day breakfast and stall: Save the date! CJC’s Father and special person breakfast and stall is coming up on Friday 4th September. The breakfast will be held before school in the SLC and the stall during the day, each class will have the chance to attend. Details for tickets and volunteering on the day will be out soon.
Friday Treats: Friday treats are back! Please see below for when it is your classes turn to volunteer. Volunteering is easy and takes about 30minutes of your time from 3.15pm, please let your class convenor know if you are available on your classes’ day.

General News
Second Hand uniform Shop: CJC’s second-hand uniform shop opens twice per term. This is a great place to pick up CJC uniforms and school bags. If you have CJC uniforms that your child\ren have grown out of and are in good condition, (no holes, school crest visible/not peeling off, zips in working condition, no stains) please consider donating them to the uniform shop. The donation box is at the bottom of the eastern stairs in the front building.
Child Safety: A reminder that all parents/carer’s who wish to volunteer at CJC must have a Working With Children Check – it is free for volunteers and you can apply online here: https://service.vic.gov.au/services/working-with-children
