2024 Diocesan Swimming Carnival

Netball

REGISTRATIONS CLOSE ON FRIDAY 8th MARCH, 2024

All new netball uniforms can be found on the Compass app in the Canteen menu.
There are a small number of second hand uniforms available from the Primary Canteen for $20.
Training is decided by coaches. All training is at St Edward’s Primary School straight after school, Infants’ children can catch the bus.
Games will start in early May.
All games are played inside, or on the outside courts at the Tamworth Sports Dome.
Games for children aged 10 and under are usually played at 12pm.*
Games for children aged 11 and over are usually at 1pm.*

Winter Trials
Winter and Summer Trials are a pathway opportunity for Year 6 students and very capable Year 5 students. Schools are invited by the the Catholic Schools Office to send students of a proficient skill level to these trials. We don't send teams to trials, rather individual players with proficient skills and ability.
2024 Basketball Competition
Only teams with 7 or more players registered will be able to take the court. Any team that does not have 7 players registered will have a bye that week.
The teams that are ineligible will be able to play as soon as there are 7 players registered. Don't forget that registration refers to both team and association registration.

Tamworth Touch Representatives
Cash Hoffman, Dylan Cooper and Duncan Scates all represented Tamworth Titans in the Under 12’s at the Junior State Cup for Touch Football in Dubbo over 3 days. Their team played amazing and only just missed out on making the finals by 2 points. All boys gained a wealth of knowledge and increased their skills over the competition.

Please keep a lookout for these in your cupboards, school bags, dirty clothes baskets, even under beds. We are still missing a considerable amount of shirts which will be required to be handed back in this term.
Netball and Basketball Uniforms
You are able to order both the St Edward's Netball and St Edward's Basketball uniform by using the Compass app.
HOW TO ORDER:
1.Click on the Compass app
2. Select more (bottom right corner)
3. Select canteen
4. Select child
5. Select day (tomorrow's date)
6. Select uniform menu
Simply select size and the uniform will be handed to your child at school the day selected. Please keep all tags on until you are happy with the size after trying on to allow a simple exchange at the primary canteen.
If your child is in Year 6 and does not have a sibling to hand their netball/basketball uniform to, could you consider donating or selling your uniform through the school? We are always looking for second hand uniforms for our new families and new students to the sport. Please see Mrs Bridge in the Canteen for more information around this.

Armidale Diocesan Primary Sports Council
The Armidale Diocesan Primary Sports Council is a body representative of the Catholic Education Office, Principals and Sports Coordinators from all Diocesan Primary Schools. The ADPSC offers a pathway for Armidale Diocesan students in most sports.
