News from Visual Arts

Photos from our artist-in-residence Sophie Munns workshop with our Year 11 Visual Art and Visual Art in Practice students on 15 February.

Students explored working with diverse media and techniques directed through Sophie’s seedartlab workshop. Sophie engaged our students in her way of working and the motivation behind her work, especially considering bio-cultural diversity.

If you really look at seed…often appearing so small, so humble and easily often unnoticed. They are so profound as they help shape the natural world and history of human culture on the planet. Sophie Munns. (Creative Inquiry, Senior Visual Art textbook).
