A warm welcome

Welcome to the Exciting Beginning: Year 7's Promising Start!

As we began the academic year, it is my pleasure to report that our Year 7 students have made a remarkably good and productive start to their high school journey. Transitioning from primary to secondary education is a significant milestone, and our newest members have shown incredible adaptability and enthusiasm in embracing this new chapter at Cecil Hills High School.

With the support of their Year Advisers and classroom teachers, students have been actively engaging in a variety of subjects, exploring the broader curriculum with a keen interest in learning and personal growth. Their participation in both academic and extracurricular activities showcases their eagerness to explore new opportunities and challenges.

A Warm Welcome: The Year 7 BBQ

A highlight of the term so far was the Year 7 BBQ, an event that not only celebrated the start of our students' high school journey but also fostered a sense of community among parents, teachers, and students. The turnout was fantastic, with a large number of parents attending. It was a great opportunity to meet with the excellent teachers and Year Advisers who play a pivotal role in the learning and wellbeing of our students.

Looking Ahead

As we move forward, it's clear that our Year 7 students are settling in well and thriving. Their good start is a testament to their resilience, our dedicated staff, and the supportive network of parents and caregivers around them. Keep up the great work Year 7!
