Welcome back to 2024 - The importance of regular attendance

The government recommends a minimum attendance of 90% each year. The below graphic depicts how the percentages may impact student learning. Regular attendance has shown to greatly improve student outcomes during and post-school. It has also been proven to have a positive impact on student wellbeing. 

Year 9 Electives

I have been visiting several elective classes and have been able to chat with students and teachers. It has certainly been a highlight of my working weeks seeing the students so engaged and watching the staff doing such an amazing job. A massive congratulations to the staff on the high levels of engagement that they have facilitated. I hope to make this a regular part of my week.
