Auslan

Prep - 2: 

Students have been absolutely smashing goals, they are now confidently putting their knowledge together, and sign “my favourite colour, what? ______, my least favourite colour, what?”. What a huge step! Putting sentences together in correct Auslan grammar! Students have been practicing though games and watching videos of Deaf people. This week, we are moving onto numbers, and hopefully they are able to play uno and go fish with no voice! Just like last assembly I will be choosing 2 superstars to stand out the front, and guide the rest of the P-6’s in the song, Advanced Australia Fair!

Year 7: 

At the moment, students are preparing for the unit 1 assessment where they will be showing off their new found skills by putting it all together. 

They are beginning to record themselves for their assessments. That’s a huge step! They should be very proud of their efforts! Soon they will being the National Anthem too, and can start to apply their new signs to new ideas and concepts.
