Little Anglers Kits and Victorian Fisheries

On Monday 4 March, Year 6 students were very excited to receive a free fishing rod thanks to Victorian Fisheries Authority who kindly donated these little anglers kits to each Year 6 student. 

All kits included a fishing rod, reel with line, a tackle box with some hooks, lead sinkers, swivels and a lure, as well as a kids guide to fishing. 

Also, big thank you to Jimmy & Reidy from Kyabram Anglers Club who demonstrated how to setup a fishing line, sinker & lure. They also provided a measuring sticker to all Year 6 students for their future fishing endeavours. 

Year 6 students thoroughly enjoyed this lesson and are eager to use their fishing rod's.
