Year 3-6 Solar System Showcase

Thank you to all the community members who attended our show on Friday 1 March.

The students did a wonderful job of capturing their learning this term. It was a great way to communicate with our families. Thank you, Miss Farrell, for your planning for this event.

Volunteers Supporting Our School

A huge thank you to the family members who stepped in to contact books for the P-2 Learning Community. We appreciate the support and dedication shown by our volunteers. Some volunteers even took books home to continue helping our young readers.

Year 5/6 Lawn Bowls - Moama

On Wednesday 6 March, our year 5/6 students competed in the Campaspe division competition. While our team didn't make it through to the next stage, we are extremely proud of our students and the way they conducted themselves. A special thank you to Ms. Parkinson for her training and guidance.

7-12 Badminton Campaspe Division Competition

Our students demonstrated excellent leadership at this event, showcasing our school values of Respect, Responsibility, and Community. Congratulations to Year 7 Boys/Girls, Year 8 Boys/Girls, and Year 11/12 Girls for progressing onto the Loddon Mallee competition next term.

Student Enrichment

Students in primary and secondary school have been enjoying various opportunities provided by our staff. Lunchtime activities such as music, drawing competitions, and games have been a hit with the students. Congratulations to all participants!

NAPLAN

NAPLAN assessments commenced this week on Wednesday 13 March and will continue with different assessments over the next two weeks. Our teachers have prepared the students well, and we are proud of their hard work regardless of the results.

Celebrations from the Week

School-Wide Positive Behaviour

We are pleased to see students continuing to meet the expected behaviors set since the beginning of the school year. To acknowledge their efforts, we have created a Compass feature to send notifications home, making families aware of the positive contributions by our students. Students have been awarded their values awards at assemblies or will be recognized over the final weeks of Term 1.

Thank you to all our families for your continued partnership and support in our school community. Your involvement is greatly appreciated.
