Mr. Carlyle's Message

Hello families and welcome to this week’s newsletter.

It was fantastic to see so many families stick around yesterday for the open afternoon.  I had the chance to touch base with new faces and spend the time floating around sharing stories about the start of the year.

This week my messages are short, as I want to direct your focus to three of our other pages in this newsletter.

School Council Elections

The first link I'd like to highlight is school council elections are upon us.  This year we are seeking new parent members, so I am putting the call out for those who would like to be a part of our awesome School Council.  This group has been instrumental in driving many of the changes we have seen over the past few years, and new members brings new perspectives.   If you are at all curious, please take the time to read information supplied.  Link

Around The Rooms

This section provides a snapshot form our teams on some of the great things we are doing in the classrooms.   While the purpose of this section is to share, we are also not trying to bombard you with information.  Thinks of it as a fortnightly snapshot.  Link

Teaching and Learning

Mr. Baker puts together a fortnightly page that provides an overview of the main focuses across the whole school regarding teaching and learning.  Mr. Baker is our head of curriculum, and his role ensures that our staff have great supports in driving student learning outcomes.  Link

Healthy Lunch Box Choices and Nude Food

Please help reduce waste in our school by packing 'Nude Food' (food without excess packaging) and whole foods or unprocessed foods in your child's lunch box.  Click here for further resources and 'Healthy Lunch Box' suggestions or to download the Pick and Mix poster for the fridge!
