Excitingly, our F-2 students have this morning undertaken the move into their permanent classrooms for 2024. Beautifully cool air greeted all classes as they moved into their climactically appropriate learning spaces!
The 3/4 students have subsequently begun the trek into their temporary homes while work is ongoing in their space for the next couple of weeks. Parents and carers please monitor Compass for updates on pick-up and drop-off locations following the moves (mostly the same this afternoon, potentially new from Monday).
Many thanks to the dynamic duo of Nicole and Ranj for overseeing a very successful trivia night in a jam-packed hall on Saturday night. This event has took many hours of planning and preparation and I would like to thank Nicole, Ranj and the small army of volunteers who helped bring it all together. Please see the PFA page of this newsletter for photos and more details! Congratulations to the Double Demin wearing winners on the night!
As communicated via Compass, our School Council nominations period has been extended to 4pm Monday. Any member of the parent and carer community who would like to join our School Council is encouraged to contact the office for a nomination form.
Congratulations to all student leaders who have received their 2024 Leadership Badges this afternoon at the special assembly.
We are proud to offer a wide range of leadership roles at Roberts McCubbin Primary School and look forward to seeing these students represent our school throughout the year.
Of course, we regard all students as leaders in our school, regardless of title or badge, with the exemplary behaviour and attitude of the vast majority of students reflecting this ethos.
