Co-Curricular Arts Groups

There are many co-curricular Arts activities at Mount Carmel in the Secondary School, most of which will commence next week (Week 3).

It is always wonderful to see so many of our students get involved in performing arts co-curricular groups. There really is an opportunity for all students with any level of experience and it’s a great way for students to attain points towards College Colours, as well as to get to know students from other classes and Year levels.

It’s not too late to join most of these groups.

Instrumental Music Tuition

Learning a musical instrument has far reaching benefits and at Mount Carmel we have some experienced Music Teachers of all instruments, who are excellent musicians in their own right, that take students for lessons at school before, during and after school hours.

Some lessons have already started and others will commence next week, but it is not too late to enrol your daughter as there are still some vacancies remaining.

If you would like to enrol your daughter for Instrumental Music Lessons, please click on the button below and complete the enrolment form. Lessons are then organised in consultation with the instrumental teacher, class teacher and student. It is important to fill out one form per instrument. Usually, students can be withdrawn from class for one instrument only. If your child wishes to learn two instruments they will need to learn the second instrument outside of class time. Primary students cannot be withdrawn before recess and for some classes, before lunch. Tuition fees are $42 per 30-minute lesson and are paid by the term, directly to the music tutor.
