Division Swimming Carnival

Last Wednesday, 21 February 2024, we had 28 students from Grades 3 to 6 participate in District Swimming, which was held at the Korumburra outdoor pool where we competed against seven different schools. 

Everyone was so supportive, furthermore confident in themselves and others trying to their best ability possible, cheering, congratulating and clapping when the last swimmer touched the wall no matter what school they were from showing amazing sportsmanship, being respectful and following their ABCs.  No matter how nervous everyone was, they still had a crack at it. 

We are proud of everyone's determination and at the end of the day Archer and Hunter McRae won age champions in their age group, we also won the handicap shield for the third time in a row and for the sixth time overall in the swimming sports. 

Ultimately we would like to thank all of the teachers and parents for coming to support our school and helping out in timekeeping.
