Senior School

In year 3/4, students have been introduced to the diversity of Australia’s places and environments, commencing with the mentor text 'Are We There Yet? by Alison Lester. 

During a reading session, students designed and wrote a postcard from a location in the text, detailing the key attractions.

In our inquiry learning sessions, students are furthering their understanding by working collaboratively in small groups to investigate an Australian State or Territory. Each group member plays a vital part in researching, mapping and documenting.  When completed, the information will be assembled and displayed as a large map of the country to showcase their knowledge.
