Principal's News

All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have the right to feel safe. The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.

Good afternoon families,

Another school year is over and we can all start to wind up for Christmas.

Thank you for all your support this year and the many kind and thoughtful emails, presents and cards we have all received in the last week.

I would like to acknowledge the wonderful staff I have at St Louis. All the staff work so hard for the good of the students and the whole St Louis' community.

I wish all the families who have finished at St Louis, all the very best and thank you all for your support of the school over the years in which you had children in our care.

On Thursday night the Year 6 students graduated and it was a wonderful celebration. Thank you to the Year 6 teachers for all their preparation and hard work in organising a wonderful last week for the students and an amazing send off Thursday night.

Thank you Father Andrew and Father Ignatius for all their support and guidance throughout the year.

Thank you to Frank for just being brillant in the garden, with the animals and the children. It is organised chaos, just the way Frank likes it. Thank you to all the families who are helping in the garden over the holidays, we are very grateful.

Thank you to Polly, Nicola and Donna for being the 'Face of St Louis' and being the welcoming to all to ring or enter our school. These ladies work at the desk, in sick bay, on the phone and looking after the leadership team. Amazing ladies.

Thank you to Lisa for running the uniform shop, the school hall after school and weekends and for cooking numerous sausage sizzles and co-ordinating all our special lunches this term. We couldn't do without her.

Thank you to Michael, who keeps us connected. Michael is a wiz with our computers and is approachable for all staff and students.

Finally, thank you to my Leadership team. They are a wonderful team to work with, who  hard working and are dedicated to the success of all the students. I thank them for their support to me and the staff. I couldn't do my job without each of them.
