Acting Principal’s Message

Dear Parents and carers,

Week 7 brings another exciting week starting with the return of staff to Sacred Heart. We welcome back Shelley Roseby which will continue to work in the primary space and Tahlia Morissey back fresh from her Practicum at Mullalley. Grace Monaghan, who has done a fantastic job at filling in for Tahliah while she has been away, will also stay on working Monday and Tuesday until the end of the year. It is certainly exciting to have so many amazing teachers working at Sacred Heart!

Intensive swimming 

Intensive swimming for the whole school begins this week. We are fortunate again this year to have qualified instructors coming from Gunnedah to run these lessons for us. Intensive swimming will be everyday at 12:30pm so don’t forget to make sure your children have packed their swimmers, swim shirt, towel, goggles and sunscreen each day.   

Items for Assembly

It is so fantastic seeing a year group present at assembly each week. This tem we have seen Christmas Craft, Stories, Maths work and reflections of the year that has been. This week the year four group will be in charge of presenting an item and I can’t wait to see what they share.   Assembly will be held this Friday at 2:30pm in the Infants space. 

A special mention to Alice Groves (Transition) who celebrates her 5th birthday on Sunday 26th November . We hope you have a great day!
