LACROSSE STATE CHAMPIONS!

We would like to congratulate our girls lacrosse team who are the STATE CHAMPIONS!

 

On Friday, 1st of December, the Year 6's girls from Wembley Primary School, competed in the State Lacrosse Championship at Albert Park. We played four games across the day, which we were all victorious in, therefore, making it through to the Championship Final. We started off strong in the final and it was an extremely close and competitive game, but we managed to hold our ground and win by a thrilling one point.

 

A big thank you to our support team and huge congratulations to the girls. We are so proud of you!

WESTERN REGION PRIMARY GOLF COMPETITION

Last week, Liam M (5A) competed in the Western Region Primary School Golf Competition at Medway Golf Club.

A huge congratulations to Liam, who finished 3rd in the competition, qualifying to play in the State Competition on Wednesday 13 December at Kooringal Golf Club, Altona.

Good luck on Wednesday, Liam! We hope you have a great round. We are all very proud of you.


HOOP TIME STATE FINALS

Congratulations to our girls 5/6 All Star Hoop Time team who compete at the State Finals on Friday 5 December. The students all represented Wembley with great sportsmanship and effort. What a great effort to be one of the top 2- teams in the state! Well done to the team, we are all very proud of you!
