Year 6 News

Last week the EarlyAct Club attended the Rotary Club of Rowville-Lysterfield’s November meeting where we heard about a lot of different projects.  One project that particularly caught our eye involved trying to eradicate trachoma, an eye disease caused by flies and the sharing of items such as face washers, towels, etc.  The communities most affected by this disease are in the Northern Territory so Rotary are putting together Toiletry packs to send to these communities.  The Rotary members thought the easiest item for our students to donate would be toothbrush holders to be distributed as part of the packs.  If you would like to make a toothbrush holder donation, either of these would be suitable:
