Camp Australia

Dear Families,

What a fun science week we had.  The vomit cups were grose but so much fun.  We had to wait for the sun to come out to reveal our secret messages with our invisible ink so hopefully we can try next week as the weather seems to be getting better.  Learning binary code was challenging but the children did well and made a bracelet with the first letter of their name.

Book week is this week and we have managed to design our own book character, make a book by recycling our paper shopping bags and compose a story using a random cartoon character book cover.  The costumes for the school’s book week parade were amazing and have inspired us to have a costume week during term 4 where the children can bring their own costumes or make them at OSHC.

Father’s Day and Special Persons Day is our theme for next week.  I can’t tell you what we will be making as it might spoil the surprise for the Dad’s out there who will be getting these gifts, so you will have to wait till Sunday!

Next week I will be taking leave but have left our OSHC service in great hands.  Leanne and Marianne will be here to coordinate and our regular assistant Preyanshi, will also be here for support.

What’s New!

We have a new sign in and out process on the tablet coming soon to OSHC.  Parents and people authorised to collect your children will need to enter their phone number when signing in and out to ensure the correct people are dropping off and picking up your children.  To make the process easy to transition to, please ensure contact numbers for parents and authorised people are up to date and add any other contacts to your child’s account via your parent portal.
