A celebration of our creativity
Visual Arts at Holy Spirit is more than just putting medium to paper. It is a safe place for the students to engage with their creativity and artistic ambitions. It is a place of discovery and wonder. A place where the students are challenged, but rise above these challenges, with incredible results.
I am so proud of all that our students have achieved this year.
Thank you to everyone who braved the weather to attend the Holy Spirit Art Show, where every child was indeed an artist.
September the 7th
What a huge celebration of ART in all its various forms! Thank you so much to everyone who made this night such a success. Thank you to Father Arsenio who began our event with a blessing. To Duncan and all of the Holy Spirit staff, who came together as a family. Thank you to Mel T, Amy, Sally, Jess, Bec, Cassie, Jenny who joined my committee team. I am so honoured to have so many capable incredible people to work with, the night would not have been so wonderful without your invaluable contributions. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped with set up, stations on the night and packing up. All of these were huge jobs and your help meant that everything came together. A special thank you to Nicole P, Kathy T, Amanda S, Lena, Lara, Jill and Eliza. Thank you for your contributions, they mean the world to me. A massive thank you to the P&F, especially Sarah and Emma who did an amazing job running the BBQ. Thank you to Sherree, Sally, Chris and Denis who brought the stage to life showcasing our students' talents through performance, music and dance.
Thank you to all of our incredible grade 5/6 students who helped with setting up the displays and volunteered on the night. You all made me so proud! Thank you especially to Lila-Grace and Abbey, I could not ask for better Visual Arts Leaders. You are both exceptional young ladies and I have loved working with you both this year. Thank you for your ideas, enthusiasm, hard work and dedication to your role.
Lastly, thank you to everyone that came. It was your energy that gave the event life.
Please send favourite photos of the night to Beth at eneason@hsringwoodnth.catholic.ed.au.
Mel T is one of our amazing Holy Spirit mums. She magically baked 445 cookies for all our children to enjoy at the art show. We are so thrilled and grateful that she was able to share her passion with us. It helped elevate the night and gave all of the students something extra to look forward to and enjoy. Please show your support to Mel by following her business and keeping her in mind when planning your next event. The proof of her talent is in our kids tummies.

Dante K was awarded the Artist Choice Award by Nadia a representative of 369 Creative Arts. Nadia is a local artist and teacher who was blown away by Dante's skills. In her words "He created an elevated piece that showed talent beyond his years."
Congratulations Dante!
Our incredible grade 5/6 students drew their own personal gallery space using 1 point perspective. They chose their favourite pieces from the year to showcase in their drawing. I am blown away by how amazing these are!
Our 3/4 students put a lot of thought into their reflections and then had a lot of fun creating toadstools.
Our grade 1/2 reflections were so special and heartfelt.
The Prep reflections are simply the best!
