1/2 Classes

As part of Integrated Studies, students in 1/2A jet-set off to Japan for an afternoon. Students learned some greetings, songs, interesting facts and information about Japan.

Some of the festivals we learned about included; Children's Day, Girl's Day and Cherry Blossom Festival.  Students were encouraged to explore the different stations celebrating Japanese culture. 

What's my name worth?

While the Grade 2s were off at swimming, the Grade 1s used MAB to make their name and then work out what their name was worth. They counted their ones and tens, and began trying to trade 10 ones for one 10.
