VOCABULARY

Information reports: A text that educates readers on a specific topic.

Objective language: Language that is based on facts and does not include personal opinion or bias.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Ask your child to draft a paragraph about their favourite animal using objective language. 

Remind them to structure their paragraph, including a title, subheading and topic sentence.
