Year 12 - 2023
By Mr Alex Malcolm - Year 12 Adviser
Congratulations on graduating Year 12. Over the last 6 years you have represented the school with pride. Mackenzie, William, Tanika and Charlie have done a wonderful job as school captains and have acted as great role models for the junior years. I would also like to thank Mrs Mallinson for her efforts and assistance in organising the graduation ceremony and Year 12’s final week. A big thank you also goes out to all the Year 12 teachers who have helped Year 12 with their studies, Mrs Johnson, Mrs Burgess, Mrs Wallington, Miss Roscoe, Miss Conomos, Mr Kiely, Mr Catt, Ms McKinstry, Miss Bray, Ms Pocock and Mr Wales.
Congratulations to Tanika, Mackenzie, Charlie and Caitlyn for their early entry offers to university. I’m sure there will be more coming once other universities release their offers in the next few weeks. We will be looking forward to hearing what other university offers are made once the examinations are completed.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as your Year Advisor and will miss you all greatly. Over the last few years we have made lots of great memories. Escaping a flood by catching a train to Newcastle for an excursion, sandboarding down the sand dunes at Port Stephens and road tripping to the Gold Coast for a leadership conference are just some of the highlights that stand out amongst many.
It has been great to watch our Year 12 cohort grow and mature into outstanding young adults and I am tremendously proud of each and every one of them. Good luck Year 12.
We will miss you.
My best wishes to you always
Mr Malcolm
Year 12 Adviser
