I’m thrilled with our team for next year and look forward to another rewarding year of learning for both students and staff.

We enjoyed a wonderful morning tea today to celebrate and thank the many volunteers who contribute so much to our school community. From classroom reading and excursions to gardening, working bees, breakfast club, school council, sub-committees, fundraising, events, second-hand uniform, library support, and more, your efforts make an incredible difference. Our school simply couldn’t run without your help, and we are truly grateful for everything you do!
What an incredible year we’ve shared! 2025 has been busy, rewarding, and full of achievements worth celebrating.
Developing our mission statement and new school values has brought clarity and alignment to our purpose. Our new School Strategic Plan has strengthened our vision and set a clear path for continued improvement.
We’re thrilled to have achieved our best NAPLAN results to date, performing equal to or above similar schools in 8 out of 10 domains. These results reflect the impact of our professional learning focus and improvement agenda.
Beyond that, our students have shone in so many ways, on the sports field, in music, through an exceptional Art Show, in maths competitions, and more. Their talents and passions continue to inspire us all.
Together, we raised an incredible $49,516 as a school, which has helped transform our learning spaces. The addition of walls, doors, air-conditioning and synthetic turf has made a real difference to student engagement and comfort.
Our professional learning in the Victorian Teaching and Learning Model 2.0 and Reading has been among the most impactful yet, supported by the trust and cohesion within our leadership team and the open-to-learning ethos of our staff. We’ve deepened expertise in the Science of Reading while strengthening the connection between wellbeing and learning, prioritising attention and engagement norms for every child. The introduction of the School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support framework has provided a strong foundation for positive student engagement, and we’re excited to build on this in 2026.
To our incredible staff - thank you! Your dedication and care nurtures and grows every child in our community. I hope you all enjoy a well-deserved break and return refreshed for an exciting year ahead.
Wishing you and your family a joyful Christmas and a safe, relaxing holiday season.
