Goodbye and Farewell from the 2025 School Leaders

This year has been an extraordinary journey for our Year 6 school leaders. Taking on the role was a challenge, but it proved to be rewarding, inspiring, and unforgettable.

Leadership has been about more than badges or titles. It has meant responsibility, teamwork, and setting an example for others. From welcoming students at the gates and raising the flag, to writing newsletters and running assemblies, each task helped the school stay organised and connected.

Most importantly, the experience has been about growth. Leaders learned to listen with empathy, support their peers, and stand up for what is right. Together, they celebrated achievements, overcame challenges, and built memories that will last long after Year 6.

To the new school leaders: congratulations! You are stepping into a role that is both an honour and a responsibility. Lead with kindness, listen with care, and never underestimate the difference you can make.

Best wishes ~ Charlotte & Vanessa

This year has truly been amazing for Year 6. As our final year of primary school, it has been filled with unforgettable moments, challenges we overcame, and memories we will carry with us forever.

We are grateful to our teachers for guiding us, encouraging us, and helping us grow—not just in our learning, but as people. Thank you to our families for supporting us every step of the way, and to our friends for sharing laughter, teamwork, and kindness throughout the year.

There are so many highlights we loved: camps and excursions that gave us adventures to remember, sports days where we cheered each other on, assemblies where we proudly represented our school, and classroom projects that sparked creativity and curiosity. We loved working together, celebrating achievements, and building friendships that will last long after Year 6.

Being a leader of this amazing school has been a privilege. From all our academic growth, fast friendships, great teachers and the many, many experiences we have been offered - we learned that leadership is about responsibility, teamwork, and care. These experiences made us proud to serve our school and showed us how much of a difference we can make.

As we look back, we feel thankful for every opportunity and every person who made this year so special. We will miss our beautiful Holy Family School community but leave with the confidence that each student who remains will have the best of everything and build their own memories here in this amazing place. Thank you to everyone who has been part of our Year 6 story. It has been nothing short of amazing!

Congratulations to Our Outstanding Students!

Throughout 2025, you have shown what it truly means to follow our school’s Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) rules, being Respectful, Responsible, and making positive choices every day. Your commitment to these values has not gone unnoticed!

Students who have earned 90 stamps or more from their teachers this year have demonstrated exceptional effort and dedication. This achievement reflects your hard work, positive attitude, and the way you contribute to making our school a safe, supportive, and welcoming place for everyone.

They were invited to join our Principal, Mrs. Dinale, and Wellbeing Coordinator, Mrs. Overton, for a celebratory pizza lunch. This is our way of saying “Well done!” and recognising the incredible example you’ve set for others.

We are so proud of each and every one of you. Keep striving to be your best, and remember, your actions make a difference!

Congratulations on a job well done! Here’s to continuing this amazing effort in 2025!
