Individual Student Reports for Semester 2, 2025 will be available on the Compass Parent Portal on Monday 15th December 2025 at 3.30pm.
Please contact the school office if you need any assistance with access to the Compass portal.
Meet Your New Teacher
On Wednesday 17th December, students in Levels 1–5 will be participating in a transition session where they will meet their new teacher and class group for 2026.
Our staff have worked carefully to ensure that all classes are balanced and set up to provide every student with the best opportunity to be engaged, supported, and successful in their learning.
Due to the record number of parent requests received this year, we were unable to accommodate many of these requests; however, please be assured that all placement decisions have been made with careful consideration of each student’s academic and social needs.
Leaving Rangeview PS in 2026
A reminder to all of our Level 6 students and any other students that will be leaving Rangeview Primary School at the end of the 2025 school year. Please ensure you download all student reports by 24th December 2025. You will not have access to Compass after this date.
Level 5/6 Zoo Excursion
On Monday 1st December 2025, our Level 5 and Level 6 students faced the cold weather to visit the Melbourne Zoo in Parkville.
The visit was to compliment the Term 4 Inquiry learning. Students observed the structural and behavioural adaptations of animals to survive in their environment. They learnt about ecosystems and what animals need to thrive, the impact of humans on places, habitats and ecosystem and how physical conditions of the environment affect the growth and survival of living things

Level 1 Drama Toolbox Incursion
On Tuesday 2nd December 2025, our Level 1 students participated in a 'celebrations' themed incursion by The Drama Toolbox. Students explored the opportunities to improve their teamwork and collaboration skills through role play.
Foundation Water Watchers Incursion
On Wednesday 3rd December, our Foundation students participated in the Water Watchers program, run by Yarra Valley Water. Students were able to learn where our water comes from, how people consume water and why we all are important in conserving our water.
