Nelson's Honey Factory Visit
Last week, our students enjoyed a buzzing excursion to Nelson's Honey Factory! They had a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the honey extraction process—from hive to jar. The visit was both educational and delicious, with plenty of opportunities to learn about bees in action and how nature’s golden treat is made. A big thank you to the team at Nelson's Honey for hosting us!
Here are some photos to showcase the wonderful experience.
Gunnedah Eisteddfod
Today, all our students participated in the Choral Speech Section for Small Schools at the Gunnedah Eisteddfod. Staff have been practising with students this term to perfect their performance. The Eisteddfod Society chose their first poem, 'Gossip' by Max Fatchen, and the second poem, 'Please Do Not Feed the Animals' by Robert Hull, was a contrasting poem selected by the staff.
