First Aid for VET certificates

Many VET certificates require our students to undertake First Aid training. This training provides students with invaluable skills and knowledge and a certificate which is highly desirable in many places of employment. 

Recently, our VET Allied Health, Animal Care, Community Services, Cookery and Sport and Recreation classes worked with trainers from PAEDS to complete their First Aid certificate. The training was interactive and hands-on and gave our students the opportunity to not only gain knowledge, but also apply the important skills required. Over the course of the day, our students were fully engaged and supportive of one another. The feedback from the trainers and the students was overwhelmingly positive!

Given the large number of students requiring the completion of First Aid, two sessions are arranged this year, with the second cohort to undertake training in September.
