Weekly Wrap: Year 10

Advisory

Our Year 10 students have been busy designing their VCE jumpers during Advisory. It’s been great to see their creativity and collaboration! We’re hoping to present the designs to School Council soon for approval so we can move forward with sizing and ordering. Also in Advisory, the Year 10 students have been running team building activities each Friday. They are partnered with a random peer to plan and facilitate an activity for the rest of the class to encourage their peers to work together.

Year 10 Humanities

In the past week, the students have finished their studies relating to the Holocaust and have begun looking into what rights and freedoms are and how they came to be. In the coming weeks we will continue to explore this concept and how our lives are impacted every day by the rights and freedoms we have.

Year 10 English

Students are continuing to work on their 'Power of Your Voice' assessment task where they are responding to the prompt 'One thing I would change in/about Charlton is...' They havesome interesting ideas and perspectives that they are now working on expressing through their multimodal presentation.
