Level 1

Literacy

This week in Writing, we have been working on features of a narrative and bumping up our writing by using adjectives and exciting sentence starters. In Reading, we have been continuing our theme of 'Heroes and Villains" by exploring Little Red Riding Hood and finding key information.

Maths

In Maths, we have continued our focus for Addition and Subtraction, using a variety of strategies, counting tools and games to consolidate our knowledge.

Numeracy Day

Tuesday was Numeracy Day, where the whole school participated in an exciting range of math games and creations. The Level Ones enjoyed learning to make tessellations with their Connect Groups, pairing up with buddies from other year levels and learning within their own classroom.

Reconciliation Week

We have also been learning about Reconciliation Week, listening to Dreamtime stories and discovering the importance of the Acknowledgement of Country.
