Camp Australia

It's been a wonderful few weeks at OSHC, filled with creativity, hands-on learning, and meaningful celebrations!

Our Lego activities continue to be one of the children’s favourite. They’ve been working together to create some truly amazing structures. We invite you to drop in and take a look at their beautiful work which is on display—there’s so much imagination and teamwork to admire!

We’ve also been exploring a variety of cooking experiences and other challenging activities that encourage creativity, collaboration, and confidence.

This week, we are proud to be celebrating National Reconciliation Week. The children are learning about the importance of shared histories, cultures, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We've been having meaningful conversations, reading books, creating artwork, and participating in activities that foster understanding and respect. It’s been heartwarming to see the children’s thoughtful engagement.

A reminder: our Holiday Program will not be running during the upcoming term break. Families should have received an email last week with details regarding the closure. For those interested, I’ll be working at Clarinda Primary School OSHC over the holidays, and I’d love to see some of you there!

Thank you for your continued support,

Farahana.
