What a fantastic way to wrap up the term! This week was Science Week, and our Grade 1 students had an exciting time engaging in hands on activities that sparked curiosity and creativity. They built spaghetti and marshmallow towers, explored how circuits work, and got messy with some squishy, fun ooblek! It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm and teamwork during each experiment.
Despite the very wet weather, students stayed positive and continued to show great resilience and energy throughout the week. It was also Planning Week, where Vermont Primary teachers were busy preparing exciting learning experiences for next term.
As this is our final newsletter for Term 2, we want to thank you for your continued support and wish all families a safe and restful break. School will resume for Term 3 on Monday, 21st July.

This year, Vermont Primary School will be participating in the MS Readathon, a fundraiser that has been supporting people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) for 45 years. The MS Readathon combines the joy of reading with the mission of making a difference in the lives of those affected by MS. The event runs throughout the month of August.
If you would like your child to participate in the MS Readathon and represent Vermont Primary School, you can register by following these steps:
Please remember not to include your child’s surname. Only their first name, or first name and surname initial, and their grade are required (e.g., Jimmy S 1NL).
