National Science Week
Next week is National Science Week and the theme for 2025 is Decoding the Universe – Exploring the unknown with nature’s hidden language. This theme invites students and teachers across Australia to delve into the mysteries of the Universe by exploring the fundamental languages of nature, including mathematics and the groundbreaking field of quantum science. Children’s Book Week
Children’s Book Week this year will be celebrated from Saturday 16 to Saturday 23 August. The 2025 theme is Book an Adventure! 2025 is also a milestone year for Book Week as we celebrate 80 years of Children’s Book Week! Concord School will celebrate Book Week with a Dress Up Day on Monday 18th August. We are encouraging all staff and students, from both primary and secondary, to dress up as their favourite character from a book, movie or series that represents adventure. We are looking forward to seeing many creative costumes across the school!
Year 11 Presentation Ball
It is an exciting time for our Year 11 students who will soon take part in the Presentation Ball. Students have been working hard on their dances as they prepare for this special night. This event is a significant celebration for all students and families involved and we look forward to celebrating with them on Friday 29th August.
