Specialist - Italian Carnevale!!

What a fabulous day we had celebrating the Specialist Carnevale Day! A wonderful community event that brought smiles, music, colour and culture to our school.

The day kicked off with joyful Tarantella dancing and a vibrant costume parade, where students proudly wore red, white and green or dressed as famous Italian figures. Classrooms buzzed with creative art and craft activities, while the playground came alive with Bocce and Soccer games. In STEM, students used their imagination and engineering skills to build their very own Leaning Tower of Pisa, with some very impressive (and slightly wobbly!) results.

One of the highlights of the day was the SPECTACULAR SPETTACOLO Incursion, a lively show filled with music, laughter and learning that had students dancing and clapping along.

We are incredibly grateful to the families who made the day extra special by bringing in the stunning Italian cars and motorbike for everyone to admire. A heartfelt thank you to the PIC for the delicious pizza and gelato lunch, and to Coro Furlan for filling the air with beautiful Italian melodies. And of course, the Sfinci doughnut van, which was a crowd favourite.

Specialist Carnevale Day was more than just a celebration, it was a reminder of the strong, supportive and joyful community we are so lucky to be part of.
