Indonesian News
A little update on Indonesian this term...
Students in Prep have been learning about animals that live on the islands of Indonesia, such as Tiger (harimau), Elephant (gajah), Komodo Dragon (komodo) and Orangutang (Orang-hutan) and created clay animals for display. They also enjoyed learning to play an iPad game called 'Blooket' with some of their 5/6 buddies.
Grade 1/2 students have been learning the vocabulary for farm animals and created their very own farm that was lots of fun.
Grades 3-6 have done a fabulous job learning the vocabulary for clothing and describing characters and have enjoyed playing 'Siapa saya?' - an Indonesian version of 'Guess Who?'.
State Athletic Finals
Well done to Indi Hann who competed in the high jump event at the SSV State Athletic Finals in Melbourne. Indi finished 10th overall in the State for her age group and should be very proud of her fantastic efforts and achievements!
