Italian Day

Italian day at St.Martin’s was celebrated with lots of music, food and fun on Friday 7th November.
The activities on the day included a fettuccine making workshop. Anna Rosa rosastraditionalitaliancooking.com/ showed the students in Years 3-6 the process of making fresh pasta. Delizioso!
The students in Prep, One and Two enjoyed a concert with Nadia Cavallo who sang and danced many of the their favourite songs from Italian class.
The students also enjoyed Italian art activities such as mosaic pictures, Michelangelo soap carving, Carnevale mask making and pasta art. Later in the day the students played Italian sport including soccer and bocce.
Lunch was very popular with over 120 pizzas delivered from Sinners in Macleod and gelato cioccolato for everyone to enjoy.
Congratulazioni and grazie to all the students who dressed up in the Italian theme for the day-you all looked fantastico. Che giorno meraviglioso! (What an amazing day)
