From Classrooms to Campfires: Year 3/4 Conquer Golden Valleys

Last week (Wed 5th – Fri 7th November), our Year 3/4 students headed off for an unforgettable three-day camp at Golden Valleys in Flinders. From the moment we hopped on the bus, the excitement was high and the anticipation even higher! Students challenged themselves in a range of adventure activities including archery, the low-ropes course, flying fox, hut building and everyone’s “favourite,” the giant swing! Plenty of activities? Yes! Plenty of sleep? Not so much!

We are incredibly proud of the resilience, encouragement, inclusion and independence shown by every student across the three days. For some, it was their first time away from home, and they should be proud of how they tackled it with courage. A huge thank you to the staff and everyone at Golden Valleys who helped make it such a positive experience for all.
