Class 4/5 - Character traits and story snippets
This term our class has been learning about story writing to prepare us for the Mt Beauty Writers’ Festival.We explored the concept of anthropomorphic characters. This is a tricky word which means animals that act or look a bit like humans. Authors often use these kinds of characters to make their stories more fun, to share a message, or to show how characters can be very different from each other.
We each chose an animal and thought about what would make it really good (or maybe not so good!) at a certain role. Then we wrote stories about these situations.

Awards
Our award recipient's last week all have demonstrated our highlighted School Value of Kindness during class tasks. Congratulations to Cleo, Mitchell, Archie, Matilda, Grace, Clover, Orion, Miranda, Louis and Henry.

Friday 12th September - Class Prep/1 will be presenting.
Friday 19th September - NO assembly - last day of term
Family and friends are welcome to attend our assemblies on Monday in our undercover area and Fridays in our multi-purpose building.
