Medication Reminders

Where possible, student medication should be administered by parents out of school hours, but when your child does require doctor-prescribed medication during the school day, please ensure it is dropped off at the Health Centre in its original bottle or packaging.

Parents will be asked to complete a Medication Request Form, which is available from the Health Centre. The medication must be in its original container and clearly labelled with the following:

  • Child’s name
  • Name of medication
  • Expiry date
  • Dose and time to be administered

There’s no need to send over-the-counter medications (such as paracetamol or ibuprofen) to your child’s teacher; we keep a supply on hand at the Health Centre and can administer it as needed.

Thank you for your assistance in ensuring we provide a safe service for our students.
