Round Square Internationalism – Zoom Postcards

Embracing the Round Square IDEAL of Internationalism, students from Years 8, 9, and 11 have this term taken part in Zoom Postcards with schools across Australia and New Zealand. These student-led online sessions connect classrooms globally through conversation, collaboration, and cultural exchange. Zoom Postcards foster global mindedness, leadership, effective communication, and empathy by enabling real-time, cross-cultural dialogue. For our students, these regular international interactions enhance their understanding of global issues without the need for travel, making global learning both accessible and sustainable.

Students have participated in the following sessions:

Newcastle Grammar School- “Technology meets tradition”

Newcastle Grammar School- “Outside In: What Nature Teaches Us“

Christ’s College Christchurch- “Empowering Student-Led Initiatives”

Congratulations to the following students who were badged as Round Square leaders at the Academic Assembly on the 13 August. These students have actively engaged with the Round square IDEALS of Internationalism, Democracy, Environment, Adventure, Leadership and Service. The students have been rewarded for their hard work and actively giving their time and talents to others. The Kinross Wolaroi community looks forward to an exciting year ahead, enriched by a range of student-led initiatives and celebrations.
