Call for Farewell Messages

Our Principal, Dr Andrew Parry, will be retiring at the end of the year. After a remarkable tenure marked by vision, compassion and unwavering dedication, we want to farewell him in a way that reflects the impact he’s had on our school and its people. We are creating a special tribute to celebrate Dr Parry’s time at Kinross Wolaroi School – and we would love your help.

We’re inviting students, parents, staff (past and present), alumni and friends of the School to contribute by sharing a message, photo or video. Whether it’s a favourite memory, a thank you, or a farewell message, your contribution will help us create a meaningful keepsake for Dr Parry.

How to contribute:

  • Submit a short video message (ideally under 30 seconds)
  • Share a written message
  • Upload a favourite photo with or of Dr Parry

Use this link to submit: https://form.jotform.com/kinrosswolaroischool/dr-parry-farewell-submissions

Deadline for submissions: Friday 24 October

Contributions may be used in a farewell video shown at end-of-year events and shared with Dr Parry as a heartfelt keepsake.

Whether you’ve known Dr Parry for years or just a short time, your message will help create a lasting tribute to a much-loved leader.

If you have any questions, please contact Ellen Betts, Marketing Officer, at ebetts@kws.nsw.edu.au.

Thank you in advance for being part of this special project.

Community Awards

Nominations are open now (closing 28 August) for ‘Educator of the Year’ supported by Gowrie NSW.

Educator of the Year shines the light on exceptional classroom educators who are shaping the future of learning. As a parent or fellow associate/colleague, it’s a lovely way to show appreciation for them and recognise the truly dedicated work educators at all levels are doing from early childhood stages right through junior and senior school.
