GEELONG ARTS CENTRE EXCURSIONS
Our Preps and Year 1 students had the wonderful experience of going to Geelong Arts Centre last week to see ‘Where is the Green sheep?’. This wonderful favourite book by Mem Fox was brought to life by the Monkey Baa theatre company together with amazing visuals and puppets. The student loved the show and had the opportunity at the end to ask questions to the show'’s cast. We really value our local Geelong Arts Centre and this is the second show that students from our school have seen this year. Next week, we are taking our Year 2, 3 and 4 students to see Moss Piglet, also at the Geelong Arts Centre. We were very lucky to receive complimentary tickets, including partly subsidised bus costs, for all these shows.
The tickets were received as part of the Geelong Arts Centre Schools Engagement Program supported by the Eric Ormond Baker Trust and the APCO Foundation.
