Athletics Carnival - Whilst Ursula came last at the Athletics carnival, the participation rate was high and everyone had a great go throughout the day. Our chant was greatly enthused and red was to be seen everywhere.

Tamworth Careers Expo - Our senior students attended the Careers Expo in Tamworth to learn more about the career paths available to them and explore their options.
Dio soccer in Inverell - Our Years 7-10 students and keen senior students attended the Dio soccer in Inverell and played competitively throughout the day.
Year 7 attended their three day camp at Great Aussie Bush Camp in Tea Gardens. They participated in a variety of daytime activities: dual flying fox, archery, rock climbing, a mud run, rainforest walk and the sand dunes. And a games and challenge night. This allowed our students to further build their relationships with their peers and step outside of their comfort zones to try new things.
Dio cross country - Many of our students competed at Dio cross country at SportUNE on Wednesday the 20th of May. Of those who raced, many earned a spot at CCC Cross Country in Sydney on the 24th of June. Well done to those who braved this year’s tough course, you did well!
We held a 1980s themed trivia night for the wider community on Friday the 22nd of May and raised over $2000 for Year 12 to put towards their gift to the school. Thank you to all of the generous local businesses who donated to this cause.

Next on the cards is the Eisteddfod for our performing students.
Overall the students of Ursula and indeed O’Connor as a whole, are applying themselves well to their learning, engaging well in the opportunities offered to them. We are aiming to improve the wearing of correct school uniform by the entire student body and are asking parents and carers to help support us in this goal.
