Library News

The last couple of weeks have been very exciting in the library, with a significant number of new non-fiction titles arriving to update and expand our non-fiction collection. These new additions cover a wide variety of topics, and we look forward to seeing students explore and enjoy them.

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to the many students who continuously volunteer their time to help in the library space. From covering and reshelving books to assisting with displays, it is wonderful to see students taking an interest in what happens behind the scenes in the library. Your help and enthusiasm are greatly appreciated.

Ms Holmes continues to lead her Reading Renaissance programs, which have contributed to a huge increase in borrowing across the library. It has been fantastic to see so many students engaging with reading and making the most of our collection.

With the cold, wet winter weather arriving, the library has become a vibrant hub during break times. We love seeing students utilise the space in so many positive ways whether that’s beading with friends, playing board games, reading, studying, or simply relaxing in our warm little haven.

As a reminder, no food or drinks are to be consumed in the library. We also kindly ask students to leave their bags at the front of the library to help avoid temptation and keep our space clean and welcoming for everyone.

Thank you to all students and staff who continue to make the library such a positive and thriving environment.
