Dear parents and guardians,
We believe that education is a three-way partnership between the school, the parents and the students. It has been fantastic to work with you to enable these young people to achieve all that they have over their primary school years.
It has been a privilege to work with Level 6 this year. We have enjoyed teaching them in class, as well as watching them compete in House events, walking around the city during our Geography excursion, browsing the stalls in the Queen Victoria Markets, crawling through the mud at Camp Rumbug and getting our boots on during the Dance Incursion.
We wish them health and happiness as they spread their wings in secondary school. We can't wait to hear their stories and watch their bright futures unfold.
Graduation Fun morning and Graduation evening
It was so wonderful to see you all for our Graduation ceremony. The students certainly adopted the red carpet theme, looking very glamorous in the night. This event would not have been so successful without the huge effort of the organising committee. We sincerely thank them for all of their hard work, organising the delicious lunch boxes that the students enjoyed, the ice creams, the beautiful stadium decorations and of course, the after party.
Beach Swimming
The sun finally came out for the Level 6 Beach Swimming Program. The Lifesaving Education Program supports students working towards three key components, namely water safety knowledge, lifesaving, and rescue skills. Our students enjoyed the games and particularly the carnival. In addition to learning essential water skills, several students also worked to save the plant by collecting nurdles on the beach.
Scrapbooking
The students are putting their finishing touches on their scrap books. The books will come home at the start of next week. We hope that you will have an opportunity to sit together and share their fabulous memories of primary school.
Buddies
We have been practising our song, You've Got a Friend in Me, for the annual Buddy/Level 6 final assembly. We hope that you will join us to watch the assembly on Monday the 16th of December.
Cheers,
Kristy, Kym, Richelle & Anthony
