Level 3: Connect

Hello Level 3 Families,

Congratulations to every student on a wonderful year in Level 3! We are so proud of all your achievements and the growth you have made in your academic and social learning.

Thank you to parents and carers for all your support and encouragement at home and in the classroom.

This week we have continued with our Literacy and Mathematics learning.

In Reading, we are continuing with Frank's Red Hat comprehension, alongside some other revision lessons from concepts taught throughout the year. We encourage students to select reading books from a variety of genres, both fiction and non-fiction, to help broaden their vocabulary banks. 

In Writing, students have been writing narratives with an aim to create a picture story book that we will publish next week. We have loved seeing their imagination spark and writing about a topic of their interest. They're doing a fabulous job of including rich vocabulary and paragraphs. 

In Maths, we have been participating in a number of investigations, problem solving activities and now Christmas related work. Students will be revising the four operations during this time. 

In Inquiry, we are working hard to get our ERP projects finished. Lots of proof reading, diving deeper into some areas and ensuring we have covered all bases. Students are doing a fabulous job - we are very impressed with their commitment. 

Our ERP Expo will be on Tuesday at 3pm. We can't wait for you to see the results of their hard work!

We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge THANK YOU for all of your support this year. We have loved teaching the Level 3 students and wish them all the very best as they move to Level 4.
