Child Safety

Recent media reports have highlighted attempts by an unknown person to offer lifts to children walking home from school in the Eastern suburbs over the past few weeks.

We strongly encourage families to talk to their children about staying safe and never accepting a lift from anyone they do not know. Please remind them to:

• Always walk with a friend or in a group where possible.
• Stay alert and aware of their surroundings.
• Seek help immediately if approached by someone they don’t know or feel unsafe.

The safety of our students is of utmost importance. If you notice any suspicious behavior in the area, please report it to local authorities and inform the school.
